at the risk of being redundent, here is the house in the midst of discussion
about a state bill on abortion. It is quite controversial, and will probably
take a lot of this kind of talk to get it either passed, or defeated. But the
point is, look at the floor, the seats are virtually empty! That's how our
lawmakers get the knowledge they need to make laws controlling our lives!

This is a picture taken qa few minutes after the one below. They are arguing the bill
to allow firearms to be brought to work in their car withot breaking any laws,or losing their job. In my opinion, another step backwards to a vigilante state.

Spring is arriving in Tallahassee. It's quite different from Detroit, or North Palm Beach.So....I will try to post a few pictures to show it off. Below is a view from the back of our house showing a beautiful bloom of Azaleas, and on of the front of our house showing a tulip bush in bloom I almost ripped it out when we moved in, I thought it was dead! I had forgotten how bare the stuff could look in it's hibernation period. Hopefully I'll post some more soon. The dogwood trees are in bloom but I haven't found just the right on for a picture yet.

We've been visiting our daughter, Deborah, in Tallahassee for 24 years, but always
on a week end. I always wanted to see the legislature in action. Well we finally moved here last Dec., and now I can attend sessions during the week.
My first try was last week. When I arrived for the afternoon session, I fond
that the session had adjourned so the representatives could attend committee meetings.
Well today, I finally saw my first sessions. They looked just as I expected, lots of milling around until a vote was called. Then everyone scurried Baok to their desk,
and Cast their vote by computer..
Of course, I did not know what the blls were about, but rest assured,
I will in the future.
The pictures below show the floor as it appears when evyone is milling
around until they vote.
I'll catch on!!

The following pictures are what made the last week, and today, BUSY!
The trip to Havana was a pleasamt imterlude, and satisfied Marge's
curiosity about Klondike's former home. The work on the patio is minor,
but I look forward to a pleasnt summer that will include drinks and grilled
hamburgers on the outside. More to come.
