Here is a picture of our state senate. The seats are virtually full, and though the comments are few at least they are listened to. Quite different frm the house.I feel better from seeing them in session, as opposed to the house, pictures below.
well i dont think that in france people are allowed in the senate unless they are invited by a senator and still less allowed to take pictures!!! (i'm not sure but i've never heard of someone going to the senate! but as i don't live in paris may be i don't know what's going on in the heart of things!) if your senators are working in the public eye, they must be working twice as much as here!!!
In a way, you're right. However, I would like to see even more hard work. But anyway, thank God, they operate publicly. Sometimes it's hard for us to remember that most of the rest of the world is different
