daydreams

When I began to cross the Gulf stream, I remembered my dreams after
leaving engineering college, and learning about the awesome power
seemably available. The stream never stops, and maintains it's power.
Why couldn't we harness some of this power. I envisioned large turbines on the bottom continuosly churning out power 24-7 to electric generators as we do from wind mills. I believe to some extent,
France does something like this by harnessing neverending power from tidal action. If this is possible, Why not?
We need a Steven Jobs type to get it going, I guess. Not an 88 year old
WW II vet.
Oh well, maybe I'll be able to " look down " on it soon.

I am a republican, and have voted republican since Thomas Dewey. Still, although I wantt to see him replaced, I think Obama is much better than
the trash about him. Birth certificate and so on, is just politics!
However, my favorite for the next administrration is Romney. I would like to see Gingrich as VP, but that probably won't happen.

MARGE

Things don't change. It's hard to watch, would be impossible without
Deb and Hospice. Long days and nights, but not unexpected.
So I watch the news and use my computer and or my I-pad.
That's why i haven't posted.
I'll try to do better, politics!!!
I'm a Romney fan. Yesterday was "super Tuesday" , and went as expected.
