Brenda, I am delighted to hear from you! As you can see,I get very few comments. My blog is to a great extent, a personal journal. We probably did know ech other. I am not sure from your comment whether the Bobby Dodd you knew was Me or my son, bob JR. I too lived on my father's boat on the main dock, but this was in the 30s! In the 40s and 60s, I had sailboats in the lagoon, and My family and I lived on our boats on weekends. and some times, all week. Lynn Stedman, Sr. was one of my lifetime friends. We met in the 30s sailing club cats. He and I were college room mates as freshmen at Ann Arbor in 1941! Lynn Baker and her brother and sister in law are also best friends but their father and mother, Don and Dollie, were our best friends in the 50s and up to their deaths. Anyway, it's great to have at least one reader besides my daughter. And incidentally, her blog is also quite personal, but very professional in quality, and fairly widely read. Try it. Hello! I've been waiting to get photos scanned in to send to you from the 60s at the DYC that I believe have your son in them. I will get to that soon. I am 61. I visited your daughter's blog and wow - it's wonderful. I felt inspired over Memorial Day weekend to try my luck at a blog. It's pretty unusual I think - I populated it with over a dozen old music and comedy videos.
